Hi, I’m Meri Duarte — a wife, mom of three, author, speaker, and founder of Not In Vain Co. I am passionate about helping churches build healthy ministries and healthy leaders.

For over 10 years, I’ve served in ministry leadership, specifically in kids ministry, helping churches strengthen leadership, develop healthy systems, build thriving volunteer teams, and create environments where children and families can grow in their faith. My experience serving as a Kids Pastor has given me firsthand understanding of the challenges ministry leaders face and the importance of building ministries that are both spiritually healthy and sustainable.

Today, I help pastors and ministry leaders through kids ministry consulting, leadership coaching, and ministry development designed to bring clarity, health, structure, and sustainability to their ministry.

My approach combines practical ministry strategy with spiritual health and leadership development because I believe healthy leaders build healthy churches.

I’m also the author of Church Healed, a book centered on healing, restoration, and spiritual health within the church. My heart is to encourage leaders to heal, grow, and lead from a healthy place so they can continue serving the people God has entrusted to them.

Whether I’m coaching leaders, consulting church teams, or speaking at events, my mission is simple: to help leaders lead with health, wholeness, wisdom, and Spirit-led confidence so they can build ministries that truly impact generations.
