The Christmas season is upon us. A time to reflect on the most precious gift we’ve ever received: Jesus.
Isaiah 9:6 reminds us of the miracle of His birth:"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
In the midst of the holiday hustle, I want to invite you to slow down and dive deeper into the Word of God this Christmas season. Together, let’s focus on the One who is the reason for it all—the One who came to bring hope, joy, and salvation to a weary world.
Here are a few ways we can grow closer to Jesus this Christmas:
Pause and Reflect: Spend time each day reading Scripture that points to His coming and the promise of His love.
Celebrate His Presence: Let His truth and grace fill your heart, even in the busyness.
Share the Joy: Encourage others by shining His light through kindness and love.
John 1:14 says: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."
What a beautiful reminder that Jesus, the Word, came to be with us. This truth fills us with awe and calls us to draw near to Him.
