MY WORD FOR 2025

I gotta be honest; my Word for 2025 is terrifying me!

God gave me a word that sent chills down my spine: surrender.

It’s a scary word, isn’t it? Surrender means letting go. It means releasing control over what feels safest to hold onto. It means trusting God with the unknown. The very idea is intimidating because I don’t know what He will ask me to surrender.

My plans? My comfort? My dreams? It’s an unsettling thought.

I’m reminded of who God is. He is faithful, loving, and kind. He has never failed me!

Whether your word is making you feel hopeful or nervous, I want to encourage that

He sees the bigger picture, the one we can’t fully comprehend, and He works everything together for His glory and our good.

The word He gives us—whether it feels comforting or challenging—isn’t just a word; it’s an invitation to grow, trust, and lean into His presence.

If your word sparks hope, rejoice in the anticipation of what God will do. If, like me, it stirs up nerves, take heart in knowing that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Surrender may terrify me, but it’s also a reminder that I don’t have to have it all figured out. My job is to trust, obey, and step out in faith.

As we journey into 2025, let’s hold onto this truth: God is faithful. He will carry us, guide us, and shape us through whatever lies ahead. No matter the word, no matter the season, we are securely held in His hands.

So here’s my challenge to you—pray for your word for the year. Ask God to speak to your heart and reveal what He wants to focus on in this season. Your word may encourage you, challenge you, or even scare you a little. But one thing is certain: it will draw you closer to Him, and that’s the most beautiful thing we could hope for.

Let’s walk into 2025 together, trusting the One who holds it all. What’s your word for the year? I’d love to hear it and pray with you as we step boldly into this new chapter!

Praying for you!
